Overleaf2Drive is an Oauth app for Chrome extension designed to facilitate the transfer of generated PDF document from Overleaf to Google Drive and emailing using Gmail service. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.
As an Oauth app Overleaf2Drive collects nothing from the user. Because this is plugged in with google service which is chargeable after certain use, as an extension, the front-end that is the chrome extension using this back-end primarily collects personally identifiable data (viz, Name, email and the Overleaf UserID) to keep track of not being used for non-academic usage or productivity. The extension operates solely within the confines of your Overleaf and Google Drive accounts, without accessing or storing any data beyond what is necessary for the core functionality of the extension.
The only information processed by Overleaf2Drive is usage data (Number of API_calls per day) to monitor and enforce usage limits, if applicable. This data is used exclusively for internal purposes and is not shared with third parties.
Overleaf2Drive prioritizes the security of your data. All interactions between the extension and your Overleaf and Google Drive accounts are conducted through secure protocols. It does not store any sensitive information on our servers.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. The extension notifies users of any significant changes through the Chrome Web Store.
